PA1-100 specifically detects GATA2 and does not cross-react with GATA1 or GATA3.
Target Information
GATA2 (GATA binding protein 2) belongs to the GATA family of transcription factors. These proteins are key regulators in signaling pathways controlling proliferation and differentiation of erythroid progenitor cells. The GATA family includes six transcription factors: GATA1 through GATA6.
GATA2 acts as a transcriptional activator regulating endothelin-1 gene expression in endothelial cells and is involved in differentiation of various tissue types, including urogenital and nervous tissues, during embryogenesis.
