Product Specific Information
This antibody detects endogenous levels of JAK1 only when phosphorylated at Tyr1034, a site historically referenced as Tyr1022.
Target Information
Janus kinase 1 (JAK1) is a protein tyrosine kinase involved in interferon-alpha/beta and -gamma signal transduction pathways. Upon stimulation by interferons or cytokines, JAK1 recruits Stat transcription factors to cytokine receptor complexes. JAK1 then phosphorylates these Stat factors, enabling their dimerization and nuclear translocation, where they regulate gene transcription. Phosphorylation at tyrosine residues 1022 and 1023 is associated with catalytic activation of JAK1.
