Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882) to ensure carrier-free conditions.
Target Information
The VSNL1 gene encodes a member of the visinin/recoverin subfamily of neuronal calcium sensor proteins.
This protein is highly expressed in cerebellar granule cells, associates with membranes in a calcium-dependent manner, and modulates intracellular signaling pathways in the central nervous system by regulating adenylyl cyclase activity.
Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been reported, though their full-length sequences are not fully characterized.
