Target Information

WNT9B is part of the WNT gene family, encoding secreted signaling proteins involved in oncogenesis and developmental processes such as cell fate regulation and patterning during embryogenesis. Expression studies in the NT2 teratocarcinoma cell line suggest involvement in early neuronal differentiation induced by retinoic acid. WNT9B is clustered with WNT3 on chromosome 17q21.
