Target Information
Cytokeratin pan is a member of the intermediate filament protein family, exhibiting significant biochemical diversity. It is represented in human epithelial tissues by at least 20 distinct polypeptides with molecular weights ranging from 40 kDa to 68 kDa and isoelectric points between pH 4.9 and 7.8.
Each cytokeratin subtype (numbered 1–20) reflects specific epithelial types and differentiation stages. Cytokeratin expression patterns are valuable in distinguishing epithelial malignancies and serve as markers in cancer research and tumor diagnosis. These antibodies are widely used in immunohistochemistry, cytopathology, and flow cytometry.
