Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is >95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
The SH2 (Src Homology 2) domain is a structurally conserved motif containing two alpha helices and seven beta strands, found in proteins involved in signal transduction. SH2 domains bind to tyrosine-phosphorylated sites, triggering protein-protein interactions that can influence gene expression and cellular function. Shb, Shd, She, and Shf are SH2 domain-containing adapter proteins with diverse cellular roles.
