C1-inhibitor (C1INH)는 classical complement pathway 및 kinin 생성과 응고의 contact activation system의 활성화를 조절하는 단백질입니다. 주요 표적 단백질분해효소는 C1r, C1s, coagulation factors XIa, XIIa, 그리고 plasma kallikrein입니다.
C1-inhibitor는 단일 폴리펩타이드 사슬로 구성되어 있으며 분자량은 약 104 kDa입니다. 혈청 내 농도는 약 180 µg/mL로 알려져 있습니다.
