Description:
Monoclonal rat IgM κ is useful as an isotype control immunoglobulin.

Applications Reported:
Rat IgM Isotype Control PE-eFluor® 610 is reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.

Applications Tested:
Tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood and mouse spleen cells. Use at the same concentration as the experimental antibody.

Fluorophore Information:
PE-eFluor® 610 can be excited with laser lines from 488–561 nm and emits at 607 nm. Recommended filter: 610/20 band pass (PE-Texas Red® equivalent). Ensure instrument compatibility.

Light Sensitivity:
This tandem dye is sensitive to photo-induced oxidation. Protect vial and stained samples from light.

Fixation:
Samples can be stored in IC Fixation Buffer (Product #00-8222) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product #00-5333) for up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark with minimal impact on brightness and FRET efficiency.
