Product Specific Information

This monoclonal mouse IgG2a antibody serves as an isotype control for mouse IgG2a antibodies.
Reported application: Flow cytometric analysis.
Tested application: Flow cytometric analysis.
Use isotype control at the same concentration as the experimental antibody.

PE-eFluor® 610 can be excited with laser lines from 488–561 nm and emits at 607 nm. Recommended filter: 610/20 band pass (equivalent to PE-Texas Red®). Ensure instrument compatibility.

Light sensitivity: Sensitive to photo-induced oxidation; protect vial and samples from light.

Fixation: Samples can be stored in IC Fixation Buffer (Product #00-8222) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product #00-5333) for up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark with minimal impact on brightness and FRET efficiency. Clone-specific performance should be verified empirically.

Target Information

Mouse IgG2a is a subtype of immunoglobulin G produced by B cells in response to antigens. It is the second most abundant IgG subtype in serum and plays a key role in adaptive immune responses, including opsonization, complement activation, and antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity.
It also regulates immune responses such as T cell activation and B cell inhibition.
Mouse IgG2a is widely used in research and diagnostic applications (ELISA, Western blot, immunohistochemistry) and in therapeutic research (immunotherapy, vaccine development).
