Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

LIMK1 is a serine/threonine kinase involved in actin cytoskeletal regulation through phosphorylation of cofilin. It also plays a role in brain development. LIM domains are conserved cysteine-rich structures containing two zinc fingers, which mediate protein-protein interactions. LIM kinase-1 and LIM kinase-2 form a small subfamily characterized by two N-terminal LIM motifs and a C-terminal kinase domain. LIMK1 hemizygosity has been linked to cognitive impairment in Williams syndrome.
