Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
G protein-coupled receptor GPR49 (LGR5) is expressed in brain, skeletal muscle, placenta, and spinal cord. ESTs have been isolated from normal human brain (amygdala), embryo, and placenta libraries, as well as germ cell, uterus, and brain libraries.
GPCRs are one of the largest families of signaling molecules, characterized by seven transmembrane helices and existing in active and inactive forms. They are key targets in pharmacological research, with drugs such as Zyprexa (Eli Lilly) and Claritin (Schering-Plough) developed as GPCR-targeted therapeutics.
