Target Information
This gene encodes a protein containing a caspase recruitment domain (CARD), an antiparallel six-helical bundle mediating homotypic protein-protein interactions. The encoded protein is microtubule-associated and interacts with receptor-interacting protein kinases, positively modulating signal transduction pathways converging on activation of the inducible transcription factor NF-κB.
