Intact IgG appears on a non-reducing gel as a ~150 kDa band and, upon reduction, generates a ~25 kDa light chain band and a ~50 kDa heavy chain.

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information

IL-22, also known as IL-10-related T-cell derived inducible factor, is an alpha-helical cytokine and a member of the IFN–IL-10 family, which includes IL-19, IL-20, IL-24, IL-26, IL-28, IL-29, and type I/II interferons.

IL-22 is mainly produced by activated T cells and NK cells. The human IL-22 gene is located on chromosome 12q and is structurally related to IL-10. It acts through a heterodimeric receptor complex composed of IL-22R1 and IL-10R2, activating the JAK–STAT pathway.

A soluble receptor, IL-22BP, antagonizes IL-22 binding and signaling. IL-22 primarily targets nonimmune cells such as epithelial cells, hepatocytes, and keratinocytes, regulating genes related to innate immunity and promoting wound healing.

IL-22 is critical for host defense against extracellular pathogens and is upregulated during chronic inflammation, mediating STAT3 activation.
