Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs and Western blots, less than 5% cross-reactivity with recombinant human IGSF4B, IGSF4C, and IGSF8 is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
IGSF3 (Immunoglobulin Superfamily Member 3), also known as V8 or EWI-3, is a 1,214 amino acid membrane protein predominantly expressed in kidney, placenta, and lung. It contains an N-terminal signal peptide, eight Ig domains, and a transmembrane segment.
IGSF3 shows structural similarity to CD101 (32% identity), a leukocyte surface protein involved in T-cell activation. However, IGSF3 is not expressed in peripheral blood lymphocytes and does not appear to have an immune function.
