Product Specific Information

The eBio13G3-19D monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse Ly108, the mouse homologue of human SLAMF6 (signaling lymphocyte activation molecule family member 6).
Mouse Ly108 (also known as NTB-A) is expressed on NK, T, and B cells. Engagement of the Ly108 receptor enhances NK cell activity and IFN-gamma expression, and contributes to impaired NK cell killing of EBV-infected B cells in X-linked lymphoproliferative disease.
CD4+ T cells from Ly108 knockout mice show reduced IL-4 production and defective neutrophil function.
Staining shows no strain differences between C57BL/6 and BALB/c mice; other strains not tested.

Each product includes:

Applications Reported: Suitable for flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: Validated with mouse splenocytes and thymocytes. Recommended ≤ 0.8 µg/test (100 µL final volume). Cell count range: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test. Optimize antibody titration per assay.

NovaFluor dyes are not compatible with DNA-intercalating viability dyes (e.g., propidium iodide, 7-AAD, DAPI).
Use Invitrogen LIVE/DEAD Fixable Dead Cell stains for viability with NovaFluor dyes.

CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer (Cat. No. C001T06F01)

• Improved formulation for optimal NovaFluor staining.
• Add 5 µL per sample before combining with cells.
• For single-color controls: 5 µL per 100 µL cell sample (10³–10⁸ cells).
