- Percent identity with other species (BLAST analysis):
Human (100%), Gorilla/Gibbon/Monkey (95%), Marmoset/Mouse/Panda (84%) - For IHC(P), use heat-induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer.
After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were treated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen.

CX3CR1 is a chemokine receptor functioning as a coreceptor for HIV infection.
The genes encoding CX3CR1 in human, mouse, and rat were cloned and designated V28, CMKBRL1, CX3CR1, and RBS11.
This seven-transmembrane protein acts as the receptor for fractalkine and mediates leukocyte migration and adhesion.
CX3CR1 is expressed in various human tissues and cell lines.
