For IHC(P), use heat-induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen.
Target Information
DDR1 (MCK10) is a receptor tyrosine kinase activated by collagen and regulates adhesion, cell migration, and other cellular processes.
Receptor tyrosine kinases (RTKs) are key in cell communication with the microenvironment and regulate growth, differentiation, and metabolism.
DDR1 is widely expressed in epithelial cells and activated by various collagen types (I–VI). Expression is particularly high in kidney, lung, gastrointestinal tract, and brain, and overexpressed in several human tumors (breast, ovarian, esophageal, pediatric brain).
The DDR1 gene is located on chromosome 6p21.3 near HLA class I genes, and alternative splicing produces multiple variants.
