Target Information
RYBP는 Polycomb group (PcG) 단백질 복합체인 PRC1-like complex의 구성 요소로, 발달 과정에서 여러 유전자의 전사 억제 상태를 유지하는 역할을 합니다.
이 복합체는 히스톤 H2A의 Lys-119 잔기의 단일 유비퀴틴화를 매개하여 염색질의 전사 가능성을 조절합니다.
또한 TP53의 유비퀴틴화를 억제하여 그 발현을 조절하며, FANK1 등의 단백질 분해를 조절함으로써 세포사멸 조절에도 관여합니다.
RYBP는 DNA 결합 가능성이 있으며, 유방암에서 SRRM3 발현 억제를 통해 종양 성장 및 전이 억제에 기여할 수 있습니다.
