For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

RYBP is a component of the Polycomb group (PcG) multiprotein PRC1-like complex, which maintains the transcriptionally repressive state of many genes, including Hox genes, during development.
This complex functions through chromatin remodeling and histone modification, mediating monoubiquitination of histone H2A (Lys-119), which alters chromatin expressibility.
RYBP is involved in X chromosome silencing in females and may recruit the complex to target sites to stimulate histone ubiquitination.
It inhibits TP53 ubiquitination and degradation, influencing TP53 target gene transcription, and may regulate proteasomal degradation of other proteins such as FANK1 to control apoptosis.
Additionally, RYBP may act as a transcriptional repressor and has been implicated in suppression of tumor growth and metastasis in breast cancer via SRRM3 down-regulation.
