- Predicted to react with Rhesus monkey, orangutan, bovine, canine, mouse, and rat based on sequence homology.
- Intact IgG appears as ~150 kDa band (non-reducing gel) and upon reduction yields ~25 kDa light chain and ~50 kDa heavy chain.

Target Information
STAT6 is a transcription factor activated by cytokines, especially IL-4 and IL-13. STAT6-deficient cells show impaired IL-4-mediated functions such as Th2 differentiation, expression of surface markers, T-cell proliferation, and IgE class switching.
STAT6 mRNA is expressed in peripheral blood lymphocytes, colon, intestine, ovary, prostate, thymus, spleen, kidney, liver, lung, and placenta.
STAT6 plays a critical role in Th2 immune responses and IL-4-mediated biological processes, existing in two isoforms: STAT6a and STAT6c.
