Target Information
Janus kinase 3 (JAK3)는 STAT (signal transduction and activators of transcription) 계열 단백질을 인산화하는 효소입니다. 주로 면역세포에서 발현되며, 인터루킨 수용체 활성화에 반응하여 신호를 전달합니다.
JAKs는 사이토카인 및 인터페론 자극에 의해 인접한 두 타이로신 잔기의 인산화로 활성화되며, 활성화된 JAKs는 STAT 단백질을 인산화시켜 이들이 핵으로 이동하여 유전자 전사를 조절하도록 합니다.
JAK2는 IFN-γ 수용체 복합체의 개시를 담당하며, JAK1은 신호 증폭 역할을 합니다. 일부 연구에서는 JAK2의 역할이 Tyk2와 JAK3에 의해 대체될 수 있음을 제안합니다.
