Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Cytokeratin 19 (CK19) is part of the intermediate filament protein family, characterized by biochemical diversity across epithelial tissues. Human epithelia express at least 20 different cytokeratins (numbered 1–20) with molecular weights ranging from 40–68 kDa and isoelectric points between 4.9–7.8.
CK19 expression patterns help distinguish epithelial malignancies and are valuable in tumor diagnostics using immunohistochemistry, cytopathology, and flow cytometry. CK19 is absent in hepatocytes, making it useful for identifying liver metastases.
