For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, an additional desalting step is recommended (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Interleukin 3 (IL-3), also known as Mast Cell Growth Factor (MCGF), Multi-Colony Stimulating Factor (multi-CSF), or Eosinophil-CSF (E-CSF), is produced by activated T cells, mast cells, and eosinophils.
IL-3 is a hematopoietic growth factor that stimulates colony formation of erythroid, megakaryocyte, neutrophil, eosinophil, basophil, mast cell, and monocytic lineages.
Its functions are often enhanced by co-stimulation with other cytokines.
Human and mouse IL-3 share only 29% sequence identity, and their bioactivity is species-specific — human IL-3 is inactive on mouse cells.
IL-3 supports proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis of various hematopoietic cells and may also possess neurotrophic activity associated with neurologic disorders.
