Target Information
ERp72 is an endoplasmic reticulum luminal protein that functions as both a stress protein and a member of the protein disulfide isomerase (PDI) family.
It shares sequence identity with PDI at three discrete regions and contains the ER retention signal KEEL at its C-terminus.
ERp72 has three CGHC-containing active sites, which are critical for protein disulfide isomerization, suggesting its role as a molecular chaperone within the CGHC-containing protein family.
