Product Specific Information
- Reconstitution: Add 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL of double distilled water (DDW) depending on sample size.

Target Information
The CACNA1H gene encodes a T-type member of the alpha-1 subunit family, part of the voltage-dependent calcium channel complex. These channels mediate calcium influx into cells upon membrane polarization and consist of alpha-1, alpha-2/delta, beta, and gamma subunits in a 1:1:1:1 ratio. The alpha-1 subunit forms the ion-conducting pore with 24 transmembrane segments. Multiple isoforms arise from alternative splicing or distinct genes. Certain mutations in CACNA1H have been associated with childhood absence epilepsy (CAE).
