Product Specific Information
- In ELISAs, this antibody does not cross-react with recombinant mouse CCL2, 3, 4, rhCCL3, 4, 5, 7, or 8.
- Reconstitute at 0.5 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
- Endotoxin level is <0.10 EU per 1 µg of the antibody (LAL method).
Target Information
This gene encodes a cytokine belonging to the CC subfamily involved in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes. The protein shows chemotactic activity for monocytes and basophils, but not for neutrophils or eosinophils. It is implicated in diseases characterized by monocytic infiltrates, such as psoriasis, rheumatoid arthritis, and atherosclerosis. MCP-1 binds to chemokine receptors CCR2 and CCR4.
