Product Specific Information
- Description: Monoclonal Mouse IgG1 K immunoglobulin useful as an isotype control.
- Applications Reported: Reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.
- Applications Tested: Tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells. Use isotype control at the same concentration as experimental antibody.
- Fluorochrome Information: APC-eFluor 780 emits at 780 nm, excited with Red laser (633 nm). Ensure instrument compatibility.
- Light Sensitivity: Tandem dye sensitive to photo-induced oxidation. Protect from light.
- Fixation: Samples may be stored in IC Fixation Buffer (Product #00-8222) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product #00-5333) for up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark with minimal impact on brightness and FRET efficiency.
- Excitation/Emission: 633–647 nm / 780 nm; Laser: Red Laser.
- Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.
Target Information
Mouse IgG1 is a subtype of immunoglobulin G produced by B cells in response to antigens. It is the most abundant IgG subtype in serum and plays a key role in adaptive immunity, including opsonization, complement activation, and antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity. It is used widely in research applications such as ELISA, Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and also in therapeutic research like immunotherapy and vaccine development.
