Western blot에서 성공적으로 사용되었으며, 인간 decorin을 MMP-3로 소화할 때 생성되는 약 22 kDa 크기의 decorin fragment를 검출합니다.
면역원은 인간 Decorin Neo의 C G G P K T L Q E 잔기에 해당하는 합성 펩타이드입니다.
Target Information
Decorin은 small leucine-rich proteoglycan (SLRP) 계열에 속하며, biglycan과 함께 cartilage의 interterritorial region에서 발견됩니다.
Collagen 및 기타 matrix 단백질과 상호작용하여 cartilage matrix를 조절하며, fibronectin, thrombospondin, C1q, EGFR, TGF-β 등과 결합하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
또한 chondrocyte의 세포 주기 조절에도 관여하는 것으로 추정됩니다.
Decorin neoepitope fragment는 PKTLQE 서열을 가지며, MMP-3 또는 ADAMTS-4에 의해 decorin core protein의 Glu154-Leu155 부위에서 절단되어 생성됩니다.
