Target Information
DKK3는 DKK1, DKK2, DKK4와 유사하게 N-말단 신호 펩타이드와 2개의 보존된 시스테인-풍부 도메인을 가지며, 이들은 링커 영역으로 분리되어 있습니다. 두 번째 시스테인 영역은 WNT/DKK 상호작용을 촉진하는 지질 결합 기능을 가질 수 있습니다.
DKK3의 링커 영역은 12개의 아미노산으로 구성되어 있으며, 다른 DKK 단백질보다 짧습니다. 모든 DKK 단백질은 furin-type 프로테아제 절단 부위를 가지고 있습니다.
Northern blot 분석 결과, DKK3 전사는 심장, 뇌, 척수에서 높은 발현을 보이며, in situ hybridization에서는 특히 뇌, 눈, 심장에서 강한 발현이 확인됩니다.
