Recombinant rabbit Superclonal™ antibodies are unique offerings from Thermo Fisher Scientific. They consist of multiple recombinant monoclonal antibodies, combining the sensitivity of polyclonal antibodies with the specificity and consistency of monoclonal antibodies.

Functionally, they recognize multiple epitopes on the target, enabling high detection sensitivity for low-abundance targets. Each lot is produced with a known mixture of light and heavy chains, ensuring reproducibility and eliminating biological variability typical of polyclonal antibody production.

Target Information

CXCL12 is a stromal cell-derived alpha chemokine belonging to the intercrine family. Together with its receptor CXCR4, it activates lymphocytes and is implicated in cancer metastasis, including breast cancer. Mutations in CXCL12 are associated with resistance to HIV-1 infection. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
