Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs, approximately 15% cross-reactivity with recombinant human IGSF8 is observed.
- Less than 1% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse IGSF4 is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
IGSF8는 면역글로불린 단백질 초과가족의 EWI 하위군에 속하는 단백질을 암호화하는 유전자로, 단일 막관통 도메인과 EWI (Glu-Trp-Ile) 모티프를 포함합니다.
이 단백질은 tetraspanins CD81 및 CD9와 상호작용하며, 세포 이동 및 바이러스 감염과 같은 세포 기능 조절에 관여할 수 있습니다. 또한 특정 암의 증식을 억제함으로써 종양 억제 인자로 작용할 가능성이 있습니다.
대체 스플라이싱으로 동일한 단백질을 암호화하는 여러 전사 변형체가 생성됩니다.
