Product Specific Information

  • In direct ELISAs, approximately 15% cross-reactivity with recombinant human (rh) FGF R4 is observed.
  • 5% cross-reactivity with rhFGF R1 alpha (IIIb), rhFGF R1 alpha (IIIc), and rhFGF R1 beta (IIIb) is observed.
  • Less than 1% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse (rm) FGF R2 alpha (IIIb), rmFGF R2 beta (IIIb), rmFGF R2 beta (IIIc), rmFGF R3 alpha (IIIb), rmFGF R3 alpha (IIIc), rmFGF R5, and rmFGF R5 beta is observed.
  • Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
  • Endotoxin level: <0.10 EU per 1 µg of antibody (LAL method).

Target Information

FGFR4 (Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor 4) is a receptor tyrosine kinase involved in diverse cellular processes such as angiogenesis, mitogenesis, osteogenesis, myogenesis, carcinogenesis, and tissue repair.
It regulates CYP7A1 expression in response to FGF19, influencing bile acid synthesis. FGFR4 also plays roles in postnatal lung development and skeletal muscle lineage formation.
The FGFR family is associated with diseases including cancer, rheumatoid arthritis, and diabetic retinopathy.
