Connective Tissue Growth Factor (CTGF, CCN2)는 CCN 단백질 패밀리에 속하는 분비형 단백질로, 제대정맥 및 혈관 내피세포에서 생성됩니다.
CTGF는 Insulin-like Growth Factor (IGF)-결합 도메인, thrombospondin type 1 도메인, cysteine knot 영역을 포함하며, 연골세포의 증식과 분화, 혈관신생 유도, 섬유아세포·내피세포·상피세포의 부착 촉진 등 다양한 생물학적 기능에 관여합니다.
