Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Interleukin 24 (IL-24), also known as melanoma differentiation-associated gene-7 (mda-7), encodes a secreted protein homologous to the IL-10 cytokine family.
Human IL-24 is secreted by activated peripheral blood mononuclear cells and binds heterodimeric receptors IL-22R1/IL-20R2 and IL-20R1/IL-20R2, activating JAK/STAT signaling pathways.
Mda-7/IL-24 selectively induces growth suppression, apoptosis, and radiosensitization in malignant gliomas in a p53-independent manner.
