Target Information
ALDH2는 알데하이드 탈수소효소 단백질 계열에 속하며, 알코올 대사 주요 산화 경로의 두 번째 효소입니다. 간 내 두 주요 동형인 세포질형과 미토콘드리아형은 전기영동 이동성, 효소학적 특성, 세포 내 위치에서 구분됩니다. 대부분의 백인은 두 가지 주요 동형을 가지지만, 약 50%의 아시아인은 미토콘드리아형이 결여되어 세포질형만 존재합니다. 이는 아시아인에서 급성 알코올 중독 빈도가 높은 것과 관련이 있을 수 있습니다.
