Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
RAB5 belongs to the small GTPase Rab family, key regulators of intracellular membrane trafficking from vesicle formation to membrane fusion.
RAB5A is required for fusion of plasma membranes and early endosomes, contributes to filopodia extension, and regulates the exosomal release of SDCBP, CD63, PDCD6IP, and syndecan. It also plays a role in maturation of apoptotic cell-containing phagosomes, likely downstream of DYN2 and PIK3C3.
