Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information
GRK1 is a member of the G protein receptor kinase (GRK) subfamily within the serine/threonine kinase family. It phosphorylates rhodopsin to initiate its deactivation. G protein-mediated phosphorylation promotes arrestin binding, which terminates receptor signaling.
GRK1 is farnesylated for membrane association and inhibited by recoverin, a calcium-binding protein.
Dysfunction of GRK1 is associated with Oguchi Disease-2 and Hereditary Night Blindness.
