Target Information

Anti-Sheep secondary antibodies are affinity-purified reagents with well-characterized specificity for ovine (sheep) immunoglobulins. They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of sheep antibodies.
Secondary antibodies provide versatility and increased sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody.
These reagents are typically produced by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species, followed by purification and optional modifications such as immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, or label conjugation.
