Target Information
Anti-Rabbit secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for rabbit immunoglobulins. They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of target molecules. Secondary antibodies enhance versatility and sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody. These antibodies are typically produced by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and further purified or modified (immunoaffinity chromatography, fragmentation, label conjugation) to yield highly specific reagents.
