Product Specific Information

MA5-15506 targets EPHB4 in indirect ELISA, IF, and WB applications, showing reactivity with human samples.
The immunogen is a purified recombinant extracellular fragment of human EPHB4 fused with an hIgGFc tag expressed in HEK293 cells.
MA5-15506 detects EPHB4, which has a predicted molecular weight of approximately 108 kDa.

Target Information

EPHB4 is a receptor tyrosine kinase belonging to the ephrin receptor family. Members of the Eph family play key roles in biological processes such as nervous system development, angiogenesis, and neural synapse formation and maturation.
Ephrins are divided into ephrin-A (EFNA) and ephrin-B (EFNB) classes based on their membrane anchoring mechanisms. Eph receptors are similarly categorized based on extracellular domain sequence similarity and ligand affinity. Ephrin receptors constitute the largest subgroup of the receptor tyrosine kinase (RTK) family.
EphB4 binds to ephrin-B2 and plays an essential role in vascular development.
