Target Information

MET (c-Met) is a receptor-like tyrosine kinase whose dysregulation has been associated with many human cancers. Upon ligand activation, MET interacts with PI3K subunit PIK3R1, PLCG1, SRC, GRB2, and STAT3, leading to activation of signaling cascades such as RAS-ERK, PI3K-AKT, and PLCγ-PKC.
MET is involved in embryonic development processes including gastrulation, muscle and neuron development, angiogenesis, and kidney formation. In adults, it contributes to wound healing, organ regeneration, and tissue remodeling.
Aberrant MET signaling is linked to cancers such as gastric, renal, and breast cancer, making it a key target for cancer research and therapeutic development.
