Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Translin is a DNA-binding protein that specifically recognizes conserved target sequences at chromosomal translocation breakpoints. It forms multimeric complexes responsible for DNA-binding activity. Translin-binding sites are often found at recombination hotspots and may indicate chromosomal translocation breakpoints in genes associated with lymphoid neoplasms.
In combination with its binding partner Trax, Translin also binds RNA and mediates neuronal RNA trafficking.
