Product Specific Information

The PC61.5 antibody reacts with mouse CD25, the 55 kDa interleukin-2 receptor alpha chain (IL-2Rα). CD25 is expressed by early progenitors of the T and B lineage and activated mature lymphocytes. It forms part of the high-affinity IL-2 receptor complex with CD122 and CD132.

Super Bright 645 is a tandem dye excited by 405 nm and emits at 645 nm. Protect from light due to photo-induced oxidation sensitivity.

Fixation Compatibility:
Samples can be stored in IC Fixation Buffer (Product #00-8222) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product #00-5333) for up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark.

When using multiple Super Bright conjugates, use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product #SB-4401) to minimize non-specific polymer interactions.

Target Information

CD25 (IL2 receptor alpha chain/IL2RA) is part of the IL-2 receptor complex involved in T and B lymphocyte proliferation. The receptor consists of IL2RA, IL2RB, and IL2RG chains forming high-affinity binding sites for IL-2. IL2 plays key roles in immune response regulation, cell growth, and differentiation. Mutations in IL2RA are associated with immunodeficiency disorders.
