Product Specific Information

The 30-H12 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse CD90.2 (Thy-1.2), a GPI-linked membrane molecule expressed on thymocytes, mature T cells, and neurons in CD90.2-expressing mouse strains (e.g., BALB/c, C57BL/6, C3H, SJL).
Cells from CD90.1-expressing strains (e.g., PL, AKR) do not stain with 30-H12.

Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
Applications Tested: Tested on mouse splenocytes at ≤0.125 µg/test (100 µL sample).
Cell count range: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test. Optimize titration for best results.

Fluorochrome Information:
PerCP-eFluor® 710 emits at 710 nm and is excited by the 488 nm blue laser.
Recommended filter: 710/50 bandpass (695/40 acceptable alternative).
Ensure instrument compatibility.

Fixation:
Samples may be stored up to 3 days at 4°C (dark) using:

• IC Fixation Buffer (Product #00-8222-49)
• 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product #00-5333-54)
  Clone-specific performance should be verified empirically.

Target Information

CD90.2 (Thy-1) is a GPI-linked glycoprotein and a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily.
It is expressed in murine T cells, thymocytes, neural cells, Kupffer’s cells, and fibroblasts.
CD90.2 participates in cell-cell and cell-ligand interactions, including synaptogenesis.
In mice, CD90.2 is expressed on all thymocytes and peripheral T lymphocytes, as well as in connective tissue, fibroblast, stromal, and tumor endothelial cell lines.
