Target Information
AIRE는 DNA에 이합체 및 사합체 형태로 결합하는 전사 조절 단백질로, 유전자 발현 조절에 관여할 수 있습니다. 핵 단백질로서 545개의 아미노산으로 구성되어 있으며, HSR 도메인, 두 개의 PHD-type zinc finger, SAND 도메인을 포함합니다. AIRE는 고분자 복합체 형태로 존재할 수 있으며, CBP 및 CREBBP 전사 보조활성인자와 상호작용합니다. 세 가지 isoform이 보고되어 있으며, 그 중 하나는 핵 매개 decay(NMD) 후보로 예측됩니다. AIRE는 면역 조절에 관여하며 E3 ubiquitin ligase 활성을 매개합니다. AIRE 결함은 자가면역 다내분비증-칸디다증-외배엽이상증(APECED)이라 불리는 희귀한 상염색체 열성 자가면역 질환의 원인으로 알려져 있습니다.
