Product Specific Information
Description:
The O323 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD27, a lymphocyte-specific member of the TNFR superfamily. CD27 is expressed by thymocytes and mature T cells and is upregulated upon T-cell stimulation. It binds to CD70, playing a critical role in T cell–B cell interaction.
Applications Reported:
Suitable for flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested:
Pre-diluted and validated for flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells. Recommended use: 5 µL (0.5 µg) per test (100 µL final volume, 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test).
Fluorochrome Information:
Brilliant Ultra Violet™ 395 (BUV395) emits at 395 nm and is optimized for ultraviolet (355 nm) laser-equipped cytometers. Ensure instrument compatibility before use.
Buffer Recommendation:
For panels using multiple polymer dye-conjugated antibodies, use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (SB-4401-42) or Brilliant Stain Buffer™ (00-4409-75) to minimize non-specific interactions.

Target Information
CD27 is a 50 kDa member of the TNF receptor superfamily, expressed mainly on lymphocytes. It forms a disulfide-linked homodimer on mature thymocytes, peripheral blood T cells, and some B cells. Activation via TCR-CD3 increases CD27 expression and release of soluble CD27 (sCD27), a prognostic marker for B cell malignancies. CD27 interacts with CD70 and SIVA, influencing T cell activation and apoptosis. Dysregulation is associated with Lymphoproliferative Syndromes.
