Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform desalting using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The OTUB1 gene encodes a member of the OTU superfamily of predicted cysteine proteases. The protein is a highly specific ubiquitin iso-peptidase that cleaves ubiquitin from branched poly-ubiquitin chains but not from ubiquitinated substrates. It interacts with other ubiquitin proteases and E3 ubiquitin ligases, regulating cytokine gene transcription in the immune system. OTUB1 may function in specific ubiquitin-dependent pathways by editing polyubiquitin chain growth. Multiple transcript variants are produced by alternative splicing.
