Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, an additional desalting step is recommended (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The INK4 family includes four proteins (p15^INK4b, p16^INK4a, p18^INK4c, and p19^INK4d) that bind and inhibit CDK4 and CDK6 but not other CDKs such as cyclin E-Cdk2, cyclin A-Cdk2, or cyclin B-Cdk1.
These proteins are expressed in tissue-specific patterns, indicating non-redundant roles.
p18^INK4c is expressed during the G1 to S transition of the eukaryotic cell cycle and is maximally induced as cells enter S-phase.
