Preparation:
Produced from sera of goats immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human IL-20. Anti-Human IL-20-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and then biotinylated.

Sandwich ELISA:
To detect hIL-20 by sandwich ELISA (using 100 µL/well antibody solution), a concentration of 0.25–1.0 µg/mL of this antibody is required. This biotinylated polyclonal antibody, in conjunction with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Human IL-20 (500-P190G) as a capture antibody, allows detection of at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of Recombinant hIL-20.

Western Blot:
To detect Human IL-20 by Western Blot analysis, this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1–0.2 µg/mL. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit for Recombinant Human IL-20 is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Target Information

Cytokines that signal through Class II receptors form a distinct family that includes the interferons and interleukin 10 (IL-10). Recent identification of several IL-10 homologs has defined a cytokine subfamily that includes AK155, IL-19, IL-20, IL-22, and IL-24.
IL-20 belongs to the IL-10 family and plays a role in skin inflammation and the development of hematopoietic cells. These cytokines display pro-inflammatory activities in different tissues, including skin.
