- Western blot에서 recombinant mouse FABP4 및 recombinant human FABP3와의 교차반응은 5% 이하이며, recombinant rat FABP2 및 FABP1과의 교차반응은 1% 이하입니다.

Target Information
FABP5 (Fatty Acid Binding Protein 5, psoriasis-associated)는 인간에서 FABP5 유전자에 의해 발현되는 단백질로, PAFABP, EFABP, KFABP 등으로도 알려져 있습니다.
이 단백질은 긴 사슬 지방산 및 기타 소수성 리간드를 결합하는 세포질 단백질군에 속하며, 피부세포에서 발견되는 지방산 결합 단백질로 처음 보고되었습니다.
FABP5는 지방산의 흡수, 운반, 대사에 관여하며, Kaczocha et al. (2009)에 따르면 FABP5와 FABP7은 AEA를 세포막에서 지방산 아미드 가수분해효소로 운반하는 역할을 수행합니다. FABP3는 이러한 기능을 보이지 않았습니다.
